Juventus have started talks to sign one-time striker Alvaro Morata, who could depart from Chelsea after just one campaign at Stamford Bridge, According to the Italian sources.
The Blues signed Alvaro in a £58million deal from Real Madrid previous summer after missing out on Belgium international Romelu Lukaku, who picked for Manchester United.
Spain international hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge, netting seven goals in his first eight appearances for the Blues.
Although, Morata’s struggled for form in the latest months and has been troubled by a back damage, while Olivier Giroud’s arrival in January has further limited his playing time.
Alvaro spent two years at the Old Lady before being re-signed by Los Blancos but the Spaniard credits Juventus for transforming his professional career and has spoken at length before at his wish to return to Italy.
As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A giants have recently opened negotiations with Morata over a switch to the club and want him to substitute Mario Mandzukic.
This season, in all competitions, Alvaro Morata has made 46 appearances, netted 15 goals and provided 6 assists.
