PSG are considering making a huge £150m (€170m) bid for Lazio attacking player Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, as per the Corriere Dello Sport.
The enormous offer comes off the back of reports earlier this week that Chelsea were marking up a £70.9m (€80m) bid for the 22-year-old. The playmaker is surely in high need with the Corriere Dello Sport also advising both Manchester United and Manchester City are racing the midfield player.
PSG’s plan is not formal, but references close to Lazio boss Claudio Lotito have told the Italian newspaper that the case from PSG is true and that the French club will be evaluating how they could make such a bid in the next few months.
Bear in mind that the Ligue 1 side could be punished massively by UEFA if they don’t meet the demands of Financial Fair Play. The club are said to be holding sales for the likes of Lucas Moura, Angel Di Maria, Goncalo Guedes and Javier Pastore to make up for the transfers of Neymar, and for Mbappe next summer when his loan move is made strong. Another massive cost on Milinkovic-Savic does not look possible at the moment, but we will have to wait and see.
