Former Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey may have done his old club a huge favour against Manchester City as the Newcastle star scored a belter in the 88th minute to level the game at 2-2.
The Reds now sit 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League table, after picking up three points at home to Brighton and Hove Albion.
After the game, Shelvey spoke to BT Sport and joked that he “might be a her in Liverpool now” after his latest goal.
