Ray Wilkins has recommended Manchester United to make a bid to sign Juventus forward Paulo Dybala.
The Argentine striker has been praised as a likely target for Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window.
Indeed, rumours in Italy this week proposed that Dybala’s agent and brother has stretched out to the 20-time English champions.
The 24-year-old wants to move from Juventus after failing out with his coach Massimiliano Allegri at the Turin side.
Dybala has netted 12 goals and has made four assists in 17 appearances in Serie A this term.
Former Man United player Wilkins would love to see Jose Mourinho sign Dybala to Old Trafford in the summer.
“I’d like to see them buy Dybala from Juventus,” Wilkins told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“He is a little South American who has been wonderful for Juve.”
Dybala has scored 42 goals in 84 appearances in the Italian top flight during his three terms in Turin.
Manchester United signed Argentina’s former Juventus team-mate Paul Pogba in the 2016 summer transfer window.
The Red Devils bought Romelu Lukaku in a £75m deal from Everton back in July.
