Juventus held negotiations with £250,000-a-week Man United striker

Juventus will make a final decision on whether or not to sign striker Anthony Martial from Man United. The 26-year-old forward has emerged as a possible transfer target for the Serie A giants. Despite being at Theatre of Dreams since 2015, Anthony looks all but certain to move on in the coming windows.

After failing to be included in Man United’s matchday squad for the side’s most recent domestic tie against Aston Villa, interim coach Ralf Rangnick revealed how the French striker’s absence was down to the player.

The Frenchman wasted no time in denying his coach’s claims, Martial appears destined for a winter transfer and one club understood to be monitoring the footballer’s situation is Juventus.

However, with a loan move potentially on the cards, should the Bianconeri, who have been discussing the possibility of signing Anthony with his agent, decide to make a formal offer to the Red Devils, they’re likely to be expected to cover the French centre-forward’s entire salary.

Even though Anthony Martial’s deal at Theatre of Dreams is set to run until the summer of 2024, time looks to be running out for the winger to reignite his stagnating Man United career.
