Juventus are reportedly eyeing up a transfer deal for the London giants defender Hector Bellerin as his future seems in doubt ahead of the summer. Bianconeri are joining Barcelona in the race to sign Spain international, following a report also linking the right-back with PSG.
Hector has been a key figure for Gunners down the years, but he’s not looked quite as convincing in recent times, with Arsenal fans calling for him to be sold after the defeat to Man City. Old Lady could apparently sign Bellerin for as little as €15m and the defender may well prove a fine purchase for the Italian giants if they pull it off.
One imagines Hector could fare better with superior players around him, and he could perhaps do with a change of scene after a long career at the Emirates Stadium. Bianconeri tend to dominate matches a lot in Serie A so might be better suited to Hector’s bolster than this struggling Gunners side are right now.
The Spanish right-back had previously been something of a fan-favourite at Arsenal, but he’s not developed as many would have expected and they have talented teenager Ainsley Maitland-Niles as an option at right-back.
