La Liga giants keeping tabs with €45m-rated Chelsea attacker

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in a surprise possible transfer deal for Chelsea attacker Mason Mount. Los Blancos’ interest comes as England international is said to be unsettled by his situation at Chelsea, with more contest for places in the team now following the London club’s heavy summer spending.

Mason shone for Blues last campaign and also recently looked an exciting young talent whilst out on loan at Derby County, where he also played under the English manager.

It stays to be seen if Mount can continue to fight against such strong contest in the Blues squad with the summer arrivals of the likes of Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech in the attacking midfield department, while Christian Pulisic is also looking increasingly impressive despite initially getting off to a bit of a slow start.

Still, La Liga giants are eyeing Mount will come as something of a surprise; while the playmaker is clearly an exciting teenager with a big future, he doesn’t currently look like someone who’d command a place in the French manager’s starting XI.

The report suggests, however, that signing the English playmaker could be expensive and difficult for the Spanish club, and it might well be that the London giants would be wary of letting him go, even if he’s said to be unsettled.
