Liverpool closely monitoring No.10 La Liga forward

Liverpool have reportedly earmarked Getafe forward Enes Unal as a perfect replacement for Divock Origi who is expected to be on his way out from the club at the end of the 2021/22 sseason.

Origi’s current deal at Anfield will end this summer, and the Belgian forward is believed to complete a free transfer to Serie A giants, AC Milan in the summer transfer window.

Jurgen Klopp still has Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota capable of playing through the middle, however, the Merseyside Reds head-coach still supposedly wants to fill the Origi-sized void in the squad.

According to Turkish outlet Fanatik – via Calciomercato – Getafe’s Unal has been identified as a potential signing, with the 24-year-old impressing in La Liga this campaign.

Unal has managed to found back of the net 15 times in 32 top-flight appearances for his bottom-half club in the 2021-22 season, including strikes against the likes of Atletico Madrid, Villarreal and Real Madrid.

The 6ft 1in forward has netted twice in 26 senior games for Turkey, meanwhile, and his deal with Getafe is not due to end until the summer of 2025.
