Liverpool deal blow to Super Lig giants hopes of signing £25m signing

The Premier League giants Liverpool central midfielder Adam Lallana will not be loaned out in this winter transfer window, according to sports television channel Sky Sports.

Reports had appeared linking the England international star with a move to Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahçe, with German coach Jurgen Klopp said to be interested in getting more minutes under Lallana’s belt.

However, Sky Sports have shot down these reports, saying their sources have informed them that the struggling midfielder will be staying put.

Klopp is apparently interested in reintegrating Lallana back into his team, now that the former Southampton player has apparently recovered from the latest in a series of injuries that have limited his playing time in recent months.

The 30-year old star made two substitute appearances for Anfield outfit over the Christmas period, and Klopp is keen to see the star continue to feature for his senior-team, who still sit top of the Premier League table.

The Reds signed Adam Lallana from fellow Premier League side in the summer transfer market of 2014 for n undisclosed fee reported to be £25 million.
