Liverpool given green light to sign €25m-rated Swiss centre-forward

Liverpool and Man City are among the clubs keeping tabs on Noah Okafor. And a move for Switzerland international during the winter transfer window could be on the cards, with RB Salzburg demanding nearly €40m for him. Noah has been outstanding for the club season, and he has ten goals and two assists to his name across all tournaments.

Okafor is a prodigious young talent who has the potential to develop into a top-class footballer. So it is no shock that the top European teams are vying for his services. The 22-year-old striker could cost between €35m and €40m in winter. And teams like Liverpool and Man City should be able to afford him with their resources.

The Swiss star can operate as a wide forward as well as a striker, and his versatility will be an added bonus. The Reds could definitely use more quality and depth in their front three, and Okafor would be an excellent acquisition for the German coach. The Reds need to bring in a long-term replacement for Firmino, even though the striker will soon hold talks over a new deal.

His contract expires in the summer and has not been able to agree on a renewal with Liverpool yet. Noha Okafor needs to join a club where he will get ample first-team chances, and a move to Anfield would perhaps be more suitable for him.
