Liverpool in pole position to sign 24-year-old Spain international

Liverpool boss is still interested in signing Adama Traore and wants Reds to deliver him the Wolves winger. The 24-year-old winger has been heavily linked with a Liverpool switch in the past. Most recently, the transfer window that has only gone was where the forward was heavily reported to be on his way to Liverpool.

However, a move never transpired and Diogo Jota was signed instead. And the 23-year-old winger has already proved a successful purchase after scoring against the Gunners before the international break. But the German boss is not done yet and still has Adama on his mind ahead of the winter transfer window.

Jurgen Klopp wants to sign the former Barcelona winger, further pressuring the Reds board to do so. However, Wolves have demanded £60m for the Spanish forward who has also been linked with a switch back to Barcelona.

Adama left Blaugrana in 2015 after playing only one La Liga game. Aston Villa snapped him up as a youngster but was relegated in his first year in England, signing for Middlesbrough not long after. Two campaigns at the Riverside Stadium followed before he was snapped up by Wolves for £18m.
