Liverpool interested in signing 19-year-old Scottish playmaker

Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in making a move for Dundee United midfielder Alan Domeracki. The 19-year-old midfielder signed a professional deal earlier this year and is one of the best teenagers in the Scottish Premiership. Having come through the ranks at the Scottish FA’s performance school performance.

Described as a midfielder who is not only technically strong but is also intelligent enough to make good use of the football. Capable of playing both a deeper role and a creative one as well, Alan has the raw minerals to develop into an all-action footballer.

This augurs well for both Liverpool and Chelsea, both of who need to revamp their midfield. The Merseyside giants have the ageing Henderson and Milner still garnering regular minutes while Keita and Oxlade-Chamberlain continue to struggle with injuries. Fabinho appears to be burnt out while Thiago is not getting any younger.

The Merseyside giants have historically raided Scotland for top talent and currently have the Scottish skipper, Andy Robertson in their ranks. They brought in Calvin Ramsay and Ben Doak last summer and would welcome the chance to add Alan to that list.

With the likes of Harvey Elliott, Konate and Fabio Carvalho in their ranks, youth appears to be the flavour of the German manager’s imminent rebuild. Whether he ends up moving to Liverpool, Chelsea or elsewhere, Alan certainly has what it takes to succeed at the top level.
