Liverpool are battling two European giants to land Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen.
The Dutchman has had to play second fiddle to No.1 shot-stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen since coming at the club in 2016.
Jasper is still classed as the Netherlands’ first-choice shot-stopper, but the 28-year-old has had to settle for Copa del Rey matches only in the past two campaigns.
And it becomes visible the goalkeeper is drawing interest ahead of the transfer window reopens this summer.
According to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Napoli, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid are all in the hunt for Jasper, who is under contract at the Camp Nou until 2021.
The one-time Ajax star has a buy-out clause of €60m (£51.9m) which could tempt a host of clubs. Liverpool have been on the observation post for a new goalkeeper in the latest years.
Both Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius have question marks surrounding their ability, in spite of the former enjoying a rich vein of form in the latest months.
Jurgen Klopp has a transfer battle chest to spend upcoming summer after the departure of Brazilian Philippe Coutinho in January.
