Liverpool keep a close eye on 21-year-old World Cup winning winger

Kylian Mbappe seems ready for a transfer away from PSG after a lack of progress over signing a new deal with his current club. This is according to his fellow French World Cup-winning team-mate Adil Rami, who looks convinced France international’s future now lies away from the Parc des Princes.

The 21-year-old centre-forward even wants to enter into discussions over a new contract at the Parc des Princes. Liverpool already have arguably the best front three in world football, but they’d surely relish the chance to add an elite talent like Kylian to their front line.

This comes as Mbappe has been strongly linked with both Liverpool and Real Madrid, in what would be a stunning swoop by the PL champions if they could win the race for his signature. If Rami is right and Mbappe really is looking set for the exit door at PSG, it’s surely a huge boost to Reds hopes of bringing him to Liverpool.

It is not entirely clear, however, if Adil Rami is simply tipping Mbappe to leave Parisians, or if he is expecting him to join Real Madrid in particular. Los Blancos is often seen as the dream destination of the world’s biggest names, so Liverpool could have a tough fight on their hands to land the French forward even if he is set for a move.
