Liverpool ready to break bank to sign €130m-rated Norway international

The Merseyside giants are reportedly among the teams to have registered an interest in an ambitious possible transfer swoop for Borussia Dortmund centre-forward Erling Haaland.

The 21-year-old striker is fast becoming one of the most exciting talents in world football after his stunning scoring record over the last couple of years, and it looks only a matter of time before he makes a big move.

Erling has scored 65 goals in 65 matches in all tournaments for the Bundesliga giants, including 8 in only 6 games so far this term, so there’s no doubt he’d be a useful signing upfront for the Merseyside giants after a dip in form from Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane last campaign.

Borussia Dortmund have a clause in Erling’s contract that means he can leave for only £70m in 2022, and that could surely make him more affordable to Anfield than he would have been previously.

The report claims Liverpool have been in contact with the Norwegian striker’s agent Mino Raiola in the last year or so, though the report also names a long list of other elite sides who are tracking him.

Man United, Man City, and Bayern Munich are mentioned as being among his suitors, but the Reds also look to have an interest, despite not usually being mentioned as contenders in these kinds of transfer reports.
