Tottenham and Liverpool are reportedly interested in a transfer deal for Milan star Franck Kessie as he continues to snub new contract offers. The 24-year-old midfielder has repeatedly turned down new deals from the Rossoneri and he’s now edging closer to becoming a free agent next summer.
Franck has been linked with Chelsea by some reports, but now Tottenham and Liverpool have also registered an interest in the midfielder. It stays to be seen if Ivory Coast international will definitely be moving to the PL next, but he certainly looks like the kind of footballer who could improve Tottenham and Liverpool.
At Anfield, the German coach still needs a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum, and the Ivorian midfielder could be a cheap alternative to Yves Bissouma, who has also been linked with Liverpool. Tottenham, meanwhile, could do with an upgrade on the struggling Ndombele, and the African makes sense as a good fit for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
Unfortunately for Jurgen Klopp, identifying the footballers he wants has never been the issue, actually signing them has. The report claims that coveted Brighton star Yves Bissouma has landed himself on Liverpool’s transfer shortlist. Belgium and Stade Rennais winger Jeremy Doku is also a target for Liverpool.
