Liverpool are one of a number clubs interested in West Brom wonderkid Jovan Malcolm.
Football Insider claim we’re mighty impressed with the 16-year-old and have been checking him out all season.
A few weeks back he scored four past Liverpool U18s, which would have likely piqued our attention.
Overall this term, he has seven goals in nine appearances at U18 level, although it’s assumed he’ll be an U23 player soon.
Liverpool signed Harvey Elliott over the summer, and the 16-year-old has already made his first-team debut.
Last term, Ki-Jana Hoever also debuted under Jurgen Klopp at the same age, so there’s a clear pathway for elite talent at Liverpool under the German.
For this reason, we reckon working under Klopp, the world’s best manager, would be a mighty exciting option for Malcolm, although he may prefer to stay somewhere where first-team football is more obviously around the corner.
