Manchester United right-back Matteo Darmian has reportedly agreed to join Italian giants Juventus this summer as Matteo edges closer to an Old Trafford way out.
A report from Italian sport newspaper Tuttosport, as quoted by the Daily Mail claims that the Italian defender has verbally agreed to a switch to the Old Lady.
The transfer is now likely to be completed in the summer with Juventus due to hold further negotiations with Manchester United.
Matteo Darmian has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford since Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho took charge of the club.
England international Ashley Young has been the preferred variant at the left-back current season, while Antonio Valencia has been a central component at right-back.
After joining the Manchester United from Serie A sides Torino, a lot has been expected of the right-back, but he has never managed to realize his potential at the club.
UCL giants Juventus have been strongly linked with a move for Matteo for some time, while other Italian sides such as AS Roma and Napoli have also been registered with an interest in the past.
