Man United are reportedly prepared to make an offer for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele in the summer transfer window. Man United have remained in contact with France international’s entourage after first trying to sign him last year, and they could perhaps have a bit more luck this time.
Ousmane is ready to hold negotiations over a new deal with the Blaugrana, but they’ll be under pressure to sell him at the end of this season if they cannot agree on a deal. Dembele would be a free agent at the end of next campaign, and Red Devils are also willing to wait and try signing him on a Bosman when that time comes.
It would be interesting to see the French winger at Man United, with the forward’s recent form showing what he’s truly capable of after a difficult spell at Barcelona. The 23-year-old winger looked one of the most exciting young players in world football at previous club Borussia Dortmund, but he’s only recently started to look settled at Barca.
It is therefore unsurprising that the La Liga giants might now be extra keen to keep hold of the World Cup-winning winger, but it also explains Red Devils reviving their interest in him. The Norwegian manager could do with more options in the front-line, and an in-form Ousmane looks like just what the Red Devils need.
