Man United and PSV are involved in discussions about a potential transfer of Ibrahim Sangare, with negotiations progressing positively. Ivory Coast international joined Eredivisie giants in the summer of 2020 after spending four years with the Ligue 1 club Toulouse.
Sangare has proven to be an impressive addition to the Dutch giants, establishing himself as one of the best in his position in Eredivisie. Ibrahim has played 85 games for the Eredivisie club, scoring five goals and winning the Dutch Cup and the Dutch Super Cup.
The 24-year-old midfielder’s progress has not gone unnoticed, with several teams around Europe taking note of his talents. And the Red Devils are among the Ivorian midfielder’s admirers this summer. After a slow start to the transfer window, Man United are starting to gather some momentum.
Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen have joined Man United, while Lisandro Martinez is on the cusp of completing a transfer to Theatre of Dreams. Man United continue to push for Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong, but things are not looking good for them as the Dutch midfielder is reluctant to move.
While Frenkie de Jong stays a priority to bolster the midfield, the Red Devils are also in need of a new defensive midfielder to shield the back-line. Fred and McTominay have not convinced while essaying that role, and Matic is no longer at the club, thus accentuating the requirement for a new enforcer in the team.
