Man United in pole position to sign 25-year-old England international

Man United are reportedly ready to approach the agent of Aston Villa forward Jack Grealish over a possible transfer swoop. Aston Villa will likely demand nearly €70m for their star footballer after his superb form this campaign, which has seen the Red Devils make him a top priority target for the summer.

The 25-year-old winger seems the perfect fit for the Red Devils with his flair and creativity, and that’s undoubtedly something this Man United side could do with more of.

Red Devils have fallen away in the title race in recent times and it looks clear they still need more additions to change things around and put together a team more capable of challenging the next campaign. Red Devils supporters will hope the club can be successful in their reported upcoming negotiations over signing Jack.

Grealish would strengthen most topsides and could be a much-needed upgrade in the Red Devils attacking midfield department after disappointing form from the likes of Paul Pogba, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard, while Donny van de Beek has not yet had many chances since his summer move from Ajax.

Red Devils, meanwhile, also surely need to think about a more long-term option than Edinson Cavani as the goals have dried up a bit for the likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood this campaign.
