Man United are interested in acquiring the services of Tottenham striker Harry Kane, who has reinvented himself under the guidance of Antonio Conte. England international is also a target for Chelsea and Bayern Munich. The Red Devils have been searching for a suitable number nine, and Harry fits the bill perfectly.
Kane has propelled himself in the last few campaigns and has emerged as an obvious choice for several big teams, including Chelsea, Real Madrid, and others. Man City had been a keen admirer of the 29-year-old striker, and Pep Guardiola had wanted to have an ideal goal poacher at his disposal in the summer of 2021.
But Tottenham rejected all of Man City’s advances as they were adamant to provide the English centre-forward with all the amenities. With the arrival of Haaland, Man City’s door has now been shut permanently, and their arch-rival Man United now are set to make the Englishman their next high-profile signing in the summer transfer window.
Harry’s current deal runs out in 2024, and negotiations for a new deal have not taken place yet. Antonio Conte has built his regime by having Kane at the bedrock of his success at the London club, and losing him would hurt the ambitions of the ex-Chelsea coach very badly.
Currently, there is a dearth of a top-notch centre-forward at Man United as the Dutch manager still is not convinced with his attacking firepower and has advised the management to fill in the void.
