Man United On The Verge to Sign £100m-rated Rapid No.7

Antoine Griezmann joining to Manchester United this summer would possible see Atletico Madrid aim the transfers of Arsenal‘s Alexis Sanchez or Chelsea‘s Diego Costa, according to the latest reports.

The Frenchman continues to be heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford, with Jose Mourinho excited to spend big on strengthening his attack this summer.

The La Liga sied are not yet certain if they will be facing a transfer ban this summer, however, if they don’t, coach Diego Simeone is keen to be given the supplies to land in a big-name replacement for Griezmann.

Sanchez’s fate at Arsenal means he could be available at the end of this campaign if he remains to stall on signing a new deal, as he would be free to leave for nothing in a year’s time.

Costa, meanwhile, reportedly stays in touch with team-mates at his ex-club and was a target for the Spanish side in last summer’s transfer window.

Those two now top Atletico’s list of replacements to fill the boots of Griezmann if he ends up at Old Trafford, while Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy is also a shock target, according to the Daily Mail.

The Chilean star and Costa have been among the top players in the Premier League this campaign, and are joint-third in the scoring standings with 20 goals each.

Antoine Griezmann reportedly has a £100m release clause in his deal.
