Man United want to strengthen their transfer budget and they are ready to sell Scott McTominay during the summer. The Red Devils’ board reportedly informed the Dutch manager he might need to sell footballers to add money to their summer kitty, with Scotland international one of those unwanted by the coach.
And £25m might do the trick for Man United. The 26-year-old midfielder made his debut for the Red Devils in 2017 with Arsenal, marking another achievement for Man United’s academy. However, while McTominay has played nearly 194 games for Man United, his long-term future may have come into doubt.
Unfortunately for Scott, the midfielder was part of Man United’s strangest period, as they are in the sixth campaign without a title. The Dutch tactician is on course to revive those fortunes by building a competitive club as he looks forward to a summer spree, where he intends to bring great players.
