Man United started negotiations with €50m-rated La Liga winger

Man United scouts were in attendance of Villareal with Bayern Munich, keeping a close eye on Arnaut Danjuma. The Netherlands international scored an early goal which turned out to be the winner in Villareal’s UCL tie against the Bundesliga giants and was impressive throughout.

The Red Devils have been keeping a close eye on Arnaut, and watched his impressive display midweek. Danjuma signed for the Yellow Submarine from Bournemouth and has scored six goals in the UCL this campaign.

The 25-year-old forward has played out wide and through the middle for La Liga giants this campaign, which is two areas the Red Devils could be targeting this upcoming transfer window. With Cavani and Lingard ready to leave the club due to his deal expiring, Man United are going to short in attacking positions.

Sancho struggled at the start of the campaign, and Rashford is still unable to find form, so a forward who is able to play down the middle could be the ideal signing for the Manchester club. The Dutch winger has also been linked with a move to rivals Liverpool, which says a lot about the Dutchman’s displays since moving to Spain.
