Borussia Dortmund are reportedly preparing a new deal for teenage midfielder Jude Bellingham in an effort to fend off interest from Premier League giants, Chelsea and Man Utd.
The former Birmingham City starlet has enjoyed a breakthrough season with the Black and Yellow last campaign and was rewarded with a place in England’s Euro 2020 squad.
Having found back of the net four games and two assists in 46 games for Dortmund last season, Bellingham has understandably been rumoured with English giants such as Man United, Chelsea and Liverpool in recent weeks.
Bellingham scoped out the Red Devils Carrington training complex before deciding on a move to Dortmund earlier last summer, and German outlet Bild reports that the Bundesliga giants are now readying fresh terms for the 17-year-old to fend off interest.
Bellingham’s existing contract with the German giants runs for another two years, however, the Black and Yellow reportedly want to tie him down until 2025 in a huge blow to potential suitors.
After coming on as a second-half substitute for England against Croatia during their 1-0 Euro 2020 victory on Sunday, Bellingham broke the record for the youngest player to feature at the tournament aged just 17 years and 349 days.
