Real Madrid are still keen on securing the services of Manchester United’s Paul Pogba with a squad overhaul on the cards in the summer, according to a recent report from Spanish publication AS.
The Frenchman has been linked with a move to Los Blancos for a couple of years now, with the star himself having made no secret of his desire to play at the Spanish club in the past.
There have been attempts made by the Galacticos in the past to land the 28-year-old but the Red Devils have always held firm.
However, that may change this summer. Paul is set to enter the final year of his deal with the 20-time English champions. And, as of now, there have been no discussions of a renewal.
The 2018 World Cup winner’s entourage, Mino Raiola, had hinted in the past that the player may not sign an extension at all and look to move on in the summer.
But, since those comments were made last year, Pogba has turned over a new leaf in terms of displays on the field and has emerged as one of his team’s best players during the second half of the campaign.
Nonetheless, considering the situation, Zinedine Zidane’s side, who have held a long-standing interest in the player are once again sniffing around, as per AS.
