Newcastle United given green light to sign Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney. Scotland international is ready to leave the London giants at the end of the campaign. Tierney is no longer a first-team regular, the defender has fallen down the pecking order in the ongoing campaign.

The Spanish manager signed Zinchenko from Man City before the start of the campaign. His arrival has had an impact on the Scottish defender’s playing time at Arsenal. Despite returning from injury Kieran has often found himself on the bench.

The 25-year-old defender joined the Gunners back in the summer of 2019 from Celtic. Ever since his arrival, the Scottish defender has gone from strength to strength. Tierney has featured in over 100 games for the Gunners and has been involved in 18 goals.

The Magpies are interested in Tierney. Newcastle United are fighting it out for the UCL spot in the ongoing campaign. Kieran’s arrival will surely help their cause. However, it will be interesting to see if they can manage to strike a deal with the London-based club.
