The EFL Championship side Bristol City have confirmed the landing of Chelsea defender Jay Dasilva on a season-long loan.
The club have announced that Dasilva has joined on a loan deal until the end of the 2018/19 campaign, as a result of his season at Charlton the previous term.
Dasilva made 44 appearances for Charlton Athletic in all competitions the previous season, impressing as they made it into the League One play-offs.
The 20-year-old star won three FA Youth Cups on the trot for the Blues as he impressed for the club’s academy at left-back.
He now joins Bristol City to attempt to impress in the EFL Championship and show the west London giants that he has a future at Stamford Bridge.
Joe Bryan is set to depart from Bristol City to join Premier League club Fulham, with Dasilva replacing the Craven Cottage-bound man.
The English club’s management were involved in weeks of negotiations with Chelsea’s officials over Jay Dasilva and finally, they seal the deal for talented left-back.
The last season, in all competitions, Jay Dasilva made 44 appearances and provided 3 assists.
