New Premier League side Fulham have confirmed the loan landing of Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah, the club confirmed.
Fosu-Mensah spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Crystal Palace, and made 24 appearances in all competitions (Premier League, EFL Cup, FA Cup) for the Eagles before returning to Manchester United.
The 20-year-old full-back was involved in the Red Devils’ preparations for the 2018-19 season but has now moved on loan to Fulham for the new term.
“I have a good feeling about the club. It has a nice history, it’s a nice club. Fulham has a lot of good players, and it’s good for my development to be here,” Timothy told the club’s official website.
“I spoke to the manager and he gave me a good feeling. I’m happy to be here and I want to keep progressing.”
Former Eredivisie giants Ajax player Timothy Fosu-Mensah, who can play in central defence and at right-back and central midfield, has been with Manchester United since 2014, and has appeared on 21 times for their first team.
2017/18 season was unproductive for young defender as he failed to net a single goal or provide a single assist.
