Premier League rivals reportedly linked with shock move for Liverpool target

Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are the latest club to be connected with what would be a stunning free transfer move for Arsenal central midfielder and Liverpool target Aaron Ramsey, according to a report.

The Wales international star looks almost certain to quit The Emirates Stadium next summer after several weeks of contract discussions between the player and the club’s officials broke down.

And while the Gunners could be tempted to cash in on the 27-year-old star in January, as they did with Chile international star Alexis Sanchez (currently, former Arsenal player plays for the Red Devils) earlier this year, it looks like more likely that Ramsey will leave for nothing at the end of the season.

Premier League duo Manchester United and Chelsea and Serie A outfit AC Milan were believed to be favourites for the player but now reports in Italy state that Spurs are plotting what would be a surprise move for the midfielder.

Moving to Spurs from Arsenal would surely be a highly controversial move that would not go down well with supporters of either team.
