Real Madrid will reportedly switch their attention to Denmark international and Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen in the summer, rather than prioritising a move to land Chelsea key man Eden Hazard.
According to a Spanish radio station Cadena Cope, as quoted on daily sports newspaper Sport, Eriksen is the man that Los Blancos want to replace the ageing Luka Modric.
The latter is seeing his long-term future at Real Madrid questioned after being heavily connected with a move away from the club in the summer.
Serie A giants Inter Milan were very keen to sign the Croatian star but no deal materialised, with Real Madrid keen to not lose both Luka Modric and Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo in the same window.
The report stats that both Christian Eriksen and Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar are ‘Plan A’ for the Spanish club, with the club looking to make a ‘Galactico’ signing.
Eden Hazard has talked up a move to Los Blancos in the summer after revealing that he is in two minds over whether or not to sign a fresh deal at the club.
